OVERHEAD CONVEYOR OVEN:
Installation of an overhead conveyor system is an effective method for conveying product that requires many processes. It is also useful in reducing costs when it comes to handling the product. In addition, products may be heated to a high temperature and are unsafe for human handling, and therefore require this type of conveyance.
Fostoria can design and build a complete system or provide the oven for an existing conveyor line application. |
Fostoria Specialized IR Oven for powder/paint curing:
This design allows for a variety of product sizes. The infrared banks are mounted on a caster/trolley system to widen or narrow the parts window to improve heating efficiency. The part window width is adjustable from 20” to 40”. Adjustments can be customized for a variety of product sizes and shapes. |
Fostoria is known as an infrared leader, but we also design and build a variety of convection oven systems. This example shows a 41’ long x 13’ high x 8’ wide oven with an overhead conveyor. This equipment was used to cure an adhesive glue at a temperature of 200°F. The oven maximum operating temperature was set at 250°F, but Fostoria convection systems can be designed for operation up to 600⁰F.
The conveyor line is designed to move the parts from floor level to a raised platform for operator removal.
